Personal Project: Urago French 1950s

Click for Big
Bought from a scrap dealer that buys metal from guys that do garage clean-outs. This was found in a San Fernando Vallery backyard. It was buried in a stack of Magna/Pacific bologna, but I could see a drop-out and it looked 'weird' enough to warrant unearthing. It sounds ridiculous, but it is difficult to even determine what the original color was. It was clearly painted with a can of blue metallic spray paint, but was that they second or third paint job?

How many derailleurs have jazz videos dedicated to them?

How is that for overspray? The blue rattle can paint has the exact same look and qualities of cheap Testor's model paint from the 1970's. I honestly forgot what that sort of paint looked like.

I am going to update the Coco's want list later today with specifications and sizes. As the astute viewer has already note, I clearly need some components. At a minimum, a non-drive side Stronglight crank arm/dust cap to match, pedals and a seat post. Ideally, I would love to have a better plastic Simplex shifter cap and a front derailleur cage, but my budget will probably not allow such extravagance.

This bicycle is not for sale at this time. I want to get it together and riding before I sell it.
