Occasionally, we take consignments from knowledgeable bike aficionado like our friend Randy. This Peugeot is beautiful in the unlikely color combination of mint metallic and orange. Randy's description follows - the detail will explain why we are comfortable taking consignment bikes from Randy. He is very knowledgeable.

$475.This 57CM Firenze ten speed is a classic, little bit clunky ten speed from the 1970's. Lots of new parts. $225. SOLD
Classy looking 56CM Centurion is the color of a tangerine - just a little more red than a standard orange. The very clean, braze-on free frame makes it a nice candidate for a handsome single speed. Lots new. $250. SOLD!

New Bike at Coco's: Specialized Mountain Bike Conversion
The best use for older hardtail mountain bikes is to convert them into urban warrior, bulletproof, commuter bicycles. Lots of new parts on this fire engine red Specialized. Smaller bike that would be good for somebody around five and half feet tall. SOLD

LA River Trail Repaved

The LA River path has been repaved south of Fletcher towards Frogtown. Not sure how far the new paved surface extends as I was on foot and didn't venture that far. The section I saw sure is nice and smooth.

New Bike at Coco's: Diamondback Street Warrior
When this bike came in, it was filthy dirty with a BMX stem, a dorky set of upright bars, broken rear spokes and worn-out knobby tires. In other words, a typical thrift store find.
We converted to a commuter warrior with road tires, a road bike stem and a flat bar. Heavily upgraded and rebuilt including some cool new clear polycarbonite pedals that we are selling at Coco's for $15.
Good size for someone that is 5'10 to 6'. New saddle, tires, tubes, rear wheel, gear cables, brake levers, grips, pedals, brake pads, brake cables and handlebar. $250. SOLD!
