This week, Jackie spent the day at Coco's and entertained herself by making custom Coco's Variety wood matchboxes. A steal at 50 cents, all funds go directly to Jackie's Subway sandwich fund.
This super clean Univega was very well maintained. We see bicycles that are four weeks old that are in worse condition.
Chrome moly frame, Shimano group. Tuned and ready to go. Brand new alloy wheels, new tires, new tubes, new pedals, new grips, new brake cables, new brake cable housing, new gear cables, new gear cable housing and a new used saddle. The saddle was a donor from another bicycle but is in new condition. $225.
Also, back in stock, Bryn brought us more Asia stickers! The return of the free sticker sensation!
What else is happening? In the last week, we sold about a dozen bikes, repaired 30 tires, tuned up bicycles for many folks including at least one Morrissey fan, have assembled multiple Linus bikes, sold an old school Mongoose saddle for $104 on eBay, Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know re-ran an interview with me though I can't find a hard link and I have purchased about 20 project bikes including a very cute 1980's Diamondback 16" loop tail BMX bike and a 50CM Centurion road bike.
Ever seen a more compelling case for cardigans, pompadours, step-through bicycles, clunky glasses and wicker bike baskets? Coco's Variety can cover the step-through bicycles and the bike baskets. Strangeways, here we come.
