Why in the world would we convert a Radio Flyer tricycle to a fixed wheel?

Months ago, maybe a year ago, a customer bought a used tricycle from us. Though her daughter was not yet riding age, she seized the opportunity to buy when an appropriate tricycle was available.

Now that she is riding age, it turns out it didn't work correctly. There is a ratcheting gear inside that little hub that allows the tricycle to coast. Well, it was shot. Just plain worn out. The cranks spun, but the wheels did not turn.

Now, we are not in the business of fixed wheel tricycle conversions, but we had to make it right. We are not perfect - far from it. Like all others, we make mistakes. But, we stand behind our work. It is not as new, not perfect. It is the best that we could do.
