Generally, Coco's does not perform repairs and refurbishment on customer's bicycles. This may change in time, but right now we can't keep up with the volume of bicycle refurbishment for our own used bicycle sales.
That said, we couldn't turn down Mike's project. He hauled his Redline BMX bike down from the rafters of his parent's house to relive his teen hoodlum days and asked if we would give it the legendary Coco's "Refurb, Never Restore." It was a no cash deal as we traded a couple of extra bikes from Mike's stable for the work.
The bike was dusty but well cared for. Jesse cleaned, greased, chrome polished, spit shined, replaced the tires, replaced the grips and popped a few wheelies in front of Coco's - just to make sure it was safe to ride.
